First Impressions Tuition Assistance Application
First Impressions - Routt County's Early Childhood Council
First Impressions serves as the hub for early childhood resources in Routt County. In strengthening and streamlining early childhood services, families with young children are connected to the resources they need to ensure all children are valued, healthy, and thriving.
First Impressions of Routt County works to ensure that young children will be provided adequate resources and quality programs to promote healthy development and school readiness.
The First Impressions Council strengthens the community’s collaborative web of resources where children and families experience dignity and a sense of belonging.
Eligible children must be enrolled or eligible for enrollment in a participating, licensed, child care center, family child care home or preschool program in Routt County. The amount of potential assistance is determined by a variety of factors including gross monthly income, child care costs, the number of child care days needed and the number of children in care. Tuition Assistance is paid directly to the participating Child Care Center on behalf of approved families.
First Impressions Tuition Assistance is limited to working families earning up to 400% FPL (Federal Poverty Level) and who are not eligible for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP.)
If your FPL is 265% or below, you MUST apply for CCCAP BEFORE applying for First Impressions tuition assistance.
Before applying for CCCAP, you may contact Fran Snider at the Routt County Department of Human Services via email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone (970) 870.5280 to determine other eligibility criteria.
